Have always liked the turinis, dont really mind whether their Anthracite or Silver, these ones happen to be off a picture of HAS's car that I took at the weekend.
Also, yes I know it needs lowering and some nice FK coilies would be ideal ;)
What do you think?
Chris
I have found that they both seem to have the same imediate visible effects but the gel keeps its looks for longer. A well recommended tyre gel would be Meguiars Endurance Tyre gel. http://www.cleanandshiny.co.uk/ProductDetails.asp?ProductID=9063

Its ok, but Autopia where mst people get theirs from as they are known to be very reliable are doing it for $129 at the moment, only $10 in it but its piece of mind. Personally I'd go for Autpia.

A cracking example, very tasteful car, glad I got a chance to see the machine in the flesh at the meet.
Very nice HAS. Alot of effort has gone into it from what I heard at the table the other night :)
Chris
Yep had a look at them the other week in the show room, definately evolved inside. Plenty of space and for me anyway it felt like a much more comforatable driving position, at the moment I have the seat right back in my Mk2 Ph3.
Good luck with the car I have feeling it is going to be another...
Depends if you have Xenons or normal headlight units as I think the manual was wrote from a standard headlight point of view, as was found out on this thread ( http://cliosport.net/forum/showthread.php?t=111735&page=2 ) on post number 29.
Hope it helps.
Chris
No worries.
What bulbs have you put in? Philips Bluevisions?
I did the bluevisions more for cosmetic reasons to help match the blue/whiteness of the Xenons. They dont really make any illumination difference, not that sidelights really do anyway :)
Glad your all sorted, catch you around...
Yep get them too, think thats inevitable, you always get at least one person go past and say the usual " You can do mine when you've finished" or " You've missed abit".
Just as long as they get their comments in after I'm done with the hose  .
Chris
Have to agree, get quite addictive and expensive and you dont even notice. 12 months ago was still using some crappy carplan shampoo and any other products that were lying around until I got my new Clio last March.
Went from the crappy shampoo status to looking into detailing and paint care...
Good work matey.
Very nice looking site and a nice collection of peoples pictures there. Put your face to your name now, good to see ya.
Catch you again soon.
Chris

Yep, all I use is a soft "dust pan and brush" brush and then a thinner one that I got from halfords to get behind the caliper as I cant be arsed to roll it forward :) Its the brush with the red handle.
(Pic courtesy of Brazo - http://www.detailingworld.co.uk/showthread.php?t=1764 :) )...
It may have a tight bite, but yeah to get it out all you need to do is pull it. Maybe some thin nosed pliars will help get a better grip on it ?
As for taking the head light unit out as you suggested in the first post, this is a bumper off job as there is one bolt on the top of the unit and I...
No need to remove bumper to change any bulbs. The sidelights themselves are abit further over towards the centre and as space is limited I found it easier to remove the main beam bulb first. The sidelight bulb istelf is just in a holder that pushes into the headlight unit, to changed them simply...
Bought mine from here: http://www.autopia-carcare.com/pc-7424.html I went for the DAS kit for $189
Then I followed the information on the import guide (http://cliosport.net/forum/showthread.php?t=121286) to get the 110V transformer, extension and plug.
PM 182_blue for a list of the discount...
I used both.
Put a thin bead of the stuff (has a consistancy similar to washing up liquid so wont fall off the wheel :o ) around the tyre wall then spread it around with the paint brush and eventually ensured a smooth and even spread with a foam applicator pad.
Cheers, yep if there are...
I think your right, seems to be well worked and proven method of AG SR, AG EG and then the P21s.
That will have to wait for another day, will get some of the Extra Gloss on order now though.
Chris :approve:
I rate the stuff quite highly.
Applied this a couple of hours ago, looks good and lasts quite a while, longer than the liquid sprays I find. As long as it doesnt rain or have wet roads it can keep that shine for a good week and then start to fade, but even when it does fade the tyres still look...

Had a good crack at the car today and seeing as its the West Mids meet tomorrow I put abit of effort in.
Meguiars NXT Car Wash Shampoo
Dried - Meguairs Water Magnet
AutoGlym Super Resin Polish - Applied with my new PC Polisher on green sonus pad :D...
Yep,
Do you have Xenons or normal Halogens at the moment?
Bulb code numbers:
Non-Xenon Cars
Sidelight: w5w
Dipped Beam: H7
Main Beam: H1
Xenon Cars
Sidelight: w5w
Dipped Beam: D2S (Xenon bulb)
Main Beam: H7
I have OEM Renault Xenons on my dynamique so got the H7 kit.
Chris
Edit...
