It's odd that the game* that may eventually persuade me to get a next gen console - is one I've already got on PS3.
If I'd have turned my PS3 on to play anything in the past couple of months, I'd have probably already picked up a PS4 by now.
* & Far Cry 4..
I like. Not in love with how it looks however.
The fitness stuff seems interesting; being able to download workouts and it counting your reps etc is pretty nifty.
It does it when plugged in and not to be honest. Never even knew that 'hey siri' thing existed.
I've turned it off now though, even though I don't think ive ever uttered those words in my life. Actually might as well turn off Siri altogether; I never use it.
Maybe I've been having Siri dreams?
I think iOS 8 has haunted my iPhone. Siri keeps activating on its own and just says 'hello?'. Freaks you out a bit when it wakes you up in the middle of the night. Not so much the third time.
I love my Apple TV, but I think its missing something - channels for every (at least UK) catchup service going - iPlayer/ITV player/4OD/Five/Dave/Sky Anytime/etc..etc.
I know you can jailbreak; I have - and use XBMC pretty often (despite it feeling really clunky) - but having that option from...
That wing is ridiculous. I love it. The 'horn' effect from the brake lights it pretty nifty too.
I'm sure I saw an ad for this in the cinema the other day - so hasn't it been announced yet?
Ah it was the concept..
Weird. I don't think I've noticed any bugs - other than the infuriating Airplay issue with YouPlayer that I've already mentioned.
I've now resorted to using the YouTube app and AirPlaying from that. Which means I'm now seeing YouTube ads on my TV for the first time ever. Main thing is it works.
This is DRIVING ME INSANE!
Pre iOS8, I went to play a video (in YouPlayer) from YouTube - as soon as I selected it, I made sure AirPlay was turned on and my Apple TV was selected - and as if by magic the video appeared on my TV.
Now, I have to select video, press play, watch the spinny loady...
Was a bit slow on my 5 last night, but it's running smooth as anything today. Wierd.
Anyone seen a decent rubdown of all the new features? I'm only finding them as I go.
