Honestly and constructively they're pretty terrible. Given your subject, the contrast levels you've gone for just make the 1st persons skin look terrible. Now that can work fantasticly if you're shooting old people as you end up with epic texture and feel to the photo. Where as IMO here it...
Depends how/where I'm shooting? Mixture of 3 settings all set on my custom functions.
Shooting for ambient - Aperture Priority, f1.4/iso3200 and 2/3rds underexposed.
Shooting with flash 1 - Manual, f7.1/60th/iso800/ttl.
Shooting with flash 2 - Manual, f7.1/.5seconds/iso400/ttl rear sync.

Finally fitted the front suspension properly this weekend, was fairly easy tbh. Everything comes apart nicely without having to fight now as its all been taken apart and lubed up/not seized which makes working on it quite enjoyable tbh. The exhaust manifold gasket I purchased is aleady...
Went down southbank the other day and scouted some locations. Needed to get down an hour or two earlier, gonna give it another go during the week. St. Pauls is so well lit compared to the rest of the skyline, need another 2/3 stops of DR really.

Makes me sick looking at the current value of my 6 month old HTC. From £600 down to £200 retail, oh well its a sick phone and it'll do me well for the next year until I come to upgrade again. 3D's a laugh too.
If you want a decent tog then you need to know one, or expect to pay £1000+. It's 10 hours contact time, with another 20 in post production. Doesn't sound unreasonable at all to me?
Theres some amazing old warehouses/mills that are worth an explore if you get time. They're all down along the valley and a couple of old hospitals on the outskirts. Also, tricorn house (the gash one by the roundabout) is not worth exploring. Its just full of needles and limes...
O'rly? I've lived in and out of Stroud for the past 10 years. Some epic shoot locations, if you havn't been to Selsley common at sunset then you're missing out.
Swish, end of the day if it doesnt feel right then its not the camera for you. The J1/V1 is a pretty good all round camera and from my experience they just feel nice. Good choice.
