Its a mk2 edde......on the mk1's there isn't a rtainaing pin on the n/s shaft, it just slot in and the hub the other end and the CV boot hold it there

On teh MPi models tehre was a recall for the fuel pipes goign to the rial, some werent; connected on properly, but this won't have just happened lol. Check the ruber hoses that come up from under the car to the engine, on mine they had started to crack, replaced them and tis all fine now

Idea weaight distribution is 50/50 F/R, but if you are just locating the battery its not gonna make a massive difference unless its a stripped, balanced race car

Depends, if you can do teh wprk yourself you will have a basically new engine if you strip it and overhaul it, i'd favour that over getting one from a scrappies

Its not an oil, its a glue type thing. 99% sure its started squeeling cus its winter, just gets damp and needs tightening
