I'm a truck driver and I don't think he'd of known if he flicked it up from the road and I deffinately don't believe he'd of done it on purpose (unless he was irish and having a bad day lol).
Irish are mad bast@rds to other truck drivers as well so don't think it's just car drivers, don't...
Foxon and myself had a race earlier (on private road obvioulsy lol) and there not a lot in it, his slightly got the upper hand but he's got a 172 cup that aint standard.
If it's still doing it after the tempreture has reached about a third on the gauge there's a different fault as well. There car does get quicker the more it's loosened up especialy if you ran it in properly and then gave it some after it was ran in to loosen it up. Also agreed Shell V-Power fuel...
My TV's pretty small, love the 197, any 1*2 drivers in the Leicester area up for showing me how much slower my 197 is to their cars lol, I'm sure even if they are slower it's hardly noticeable, I heard the 197's were better on handling as well compared to the non cup 1*2's.
Not sure about...
I've driven a 197 (every day since the end of Jan) and it is a really good buy. When you test drive it make sure he lets you go down a country lane in it, I'm sure you'll fall in love with it then. I've only been on a motorway once in mine lol
Mk3 but some might say the 197 should of had it's own section as the 172 and the 182 did (although some might say it shouldn't as the mk3 is nearly last anyway)
You can get a 172 for cheaper than that and still have a little left over for the extra on the insurance, I'd look for a quote if I was you because although some insurance companies will take the pi*s out of you but you might just be pleasently suprised with another quote (you need to be...
I don't think so otherwise it wouldn't be called running it in and it wouldn't say in the manual to keep under 3 1/2 for 625 miles. If you want to ask Renault to see whether they'll change their running in term to thraping it in go ahead lol
After you've ran it in and gradualy built...
It gets expensive when you add extras though but some of them like xenons are worthwhile having (well most of the extras are worthwhile having if you can)
As long as your OK, metal can be raplaced, you can't, too many tw*ts on the roads, you possibly can get an upgrade now to a 172 or something, if your 3rd party you don't need to tell the insurance company (if you don't want to) so you wont lose your no claims, I'd make sure your fully comp next...
