The problem with my cup is knocking/banging/juddering in first gear under acceleration, floor the throttle on an uneven/wet road and bang bang bang. It only has 3000 miles and its done it from new.

Can I also add to this post. Can the engine mount under the battery be tightened by an RAC guy? I only want to take the car in at service intervals and therefore avoid the possiblity of getting more problems. Finally does anyone know a decent renault dealer within a 150 mile radius of london?

What i mean is the car started this morning, but then i turned the ignition off and came back after 5 minutes and it wouldnt start - same clicking noise. The bloody aa man bump started the car in reverse, flipping pissed me off how bad these people are.

After a drive last night I parked the cup sport and then came back to start it 5 minutes later and nothing. All i hear is a clicking noise and all the display lights come up so not the battery. The AA man came and treated it like a 50 quid banger and told me to bump start it but i fear this...

So what about buying the headunit from the net (cdxm850 renault advertise at 550 quid on net its like 250) and getting renault to fit it so its compatible with the stalk/display and the warranty remains in tac. Would that cost loads?

Not sure if this is relevent. But the gearstick when selected on my cup moves about a fair bit is that normal.

Yeah my insurance was cheap is well. I am paying 160 quid more than what i was paying for my fiesta zetec that I part exchanged for the cup.
