Unless rebuilding a box every 12-18 months is classed as normal, I would say it can't handle the torque.
Maybe better off slapping a turbokit on a 197, what torque limits has the 6-box?
I want to have a lcd-touchscreen in the car (to connect to a carPC), but I don't want it to look aftermarket (i.e. some screen on top of your dashboard or sliding out of the headunit).
So I thought; is it possible to retrofit the dashboardpart(s) of the original navi system the Clio optional...

@Franx; I'm very interested in your experiences, just make sure you drive it a bit longer then 'a spin around the block'.
Had my decat + Milltek done yesterday (coming from a standard setup) and I too think it has noticeable less torque. Also the 5k rpm kick is less pronounced, maybe it's just a feeling :S .
Love the sound though..
Actually, my day to day driving consists of some nice backroads, so yes, it is.
But I will get used to pressing the button, I've dealt with some nasty things in my life, so I should be able to handle this horrible problem :D .
^ Don't know, was curious if maybe somebody had done this already, to know exactly how big of a hassle it would be, but appearantly most are not as bone idle as I am :o .
Exactly, thats why I thought the easiest way would be to automize the normal manual deactivation i.e. instead of pressing the button (which must make some connection) there is a relais which does exactly the same after you start the car.
Is there a standard possibility to have it turned off by default? or lose it all together? (don't wanna lose the ABS though)
If not, I was thinking maybe a relais which will automaticly switches on for a moment (as you'd do as you press the ESP button) after you start the car might be an...

Should be looking at 240+ bhp on a 182 with a decat/non-restrictive exhaust I was told. But they are still testing with this particular setup...
At first I thought it was one of those crude exhaust control valve things, which block your gasses almost completely, but it's actually quite an impressive and affordable system.
So, if some carmanufacturers/aftermarket company's use this kind of system, why do company's like Janspeed, K-tec...
