This camera looks like what I've been looking for in a long time (bar the canon g3/g5 series etc)... a cross between compact/slr. Will be looking for a camera next year... Will definately consider this or its upgrade

Put it back together how it was before with the metal frame that came with it? Hope you get it sorted. I had to replace mine but it was a simple job imho

File down the metal chunk at the end of the cable so it pops in the yellow plastic hole (looks too big?),then plastic weld / araldite over so it doesnt pop out again?

What the hell are you talking about? All you need is unlimited internet. Thats it. I can have that with payg/simplicity/contract/iphone contract.

Hmm, think im gnna renew my contract with another phone. Flog that then put the money towards a sim-free iphone? Since the iphone contracts are ridiculously overpriced.
