when people refer to the above is that the aux belt along with the obvious cam belt? if so, how much roughly should an aux belt change cost?

mine has both cup packs but is insured as a standard "from the manufacturer" car with no modifications

cheers for the comments guys, the way i see it is i have 5 to 5.5k tied up in my car, i can get a cup for 3 /3.5k 2k is 2k at the end of the day.. just gotta find a nice one/ swap / sell mine..

i has a silver sri turbo too, the traction issue was the only reason i sold mine - the only way to turn it off was to remove a fuse, then you lost abs, power steering etc. - and when remapped it was a monster. 300mm front discs IIRC
