My airbox arrived the other day and so did my K&N panel filter. The airbox was a bit dirty (as it would be having been sat on a road car for 20+ years) so I gave it a wash in our parts cleaner at work; it fires the cleaning stuff out at like 300psi, that soon moved the crap and they came up...
Thank you :)
2nd weekend off in a row!
I’ve got a busy few weeks ahead and I have organised getting an exhaust system made while I’m away. I got to work on getting the fuel tank built and fitted along with the prop shaft. It’s nice to now have the running gear complete again.
The tank...
I'll bear that in mind cheers mate. Bulk of the heavy stuff is done now the engine is in mind (pics below).
I'm always darting about with work although now I'm well and truely in 'motorsport alley' I expect I'll be staying round here.
To the car:
So it’s been a while since I’ve been able...
Can any one tell me which fuse is for the heater blower on a Mk2 1.2 dynamique? Or any other associated faults with the heater blowers so I can try and diagnose why the one on my girl freinds car isnt working? I'm 100miles away so it's a tad hard to diagnose without the car infront of me.
Tah.
I built up the front legs today with the wheel bearings, brake calipers and discs and got the car back in the ground again to take the old cage out and test fit a new one I've got. I have run into a problem with the TD wheels mounting onto the hubs. The 'bell' of the G60 discs I'm running are...
Was done by a freind of mine who used to look after all of Combes media stuff but how covers the Kyouto drift.
A day I never thought would come, has infact happened. The FedEx man knocked at my door with a box which contained my new coil overs! I've been waiting a total of 20 weeks for these to...
Much love. I have a few photo's from the track days I've done but none are particularly amazing. This is the best one:
Taken by a freind of mine (www.will-belcher.co.uk) in November 2010 in the driving snow. Was an awesome day to learn some car control skills. Here is a video from the day, my...
£30 for a medical is a bargain mine was double that, was also quoted silly prices of £120+ from my GP! I've had the best fun in my mates MX5 on a track day, was rather jealous I didn't get to drive it home afterwards (I lie actualt because it needed a new set of tyres and brakes after we'd...
I was braking hard and there was a drain that had sunk and I hit it; the peddle came up and felt very strange. A few miles further down the road a brake fault warning came up on the HUD and the ABS light came on. I pulled over, had a look around, pushed the pedal a few times and happy with the...
As Russ said, it does have one and it will do the job; however I'm going to get saving up for a safety devices bolt in one with the aim to getting and fitting it this winter. They do a good 6 point job which is probably what I'll get. They also make a rather nice one which has bars going to the...
Aye! I came up to Silverstone on Friday evening on my way home. Poked my head in to your 'Green Motorsport' garage but didn't see ya.
Little bit of progress. I got my weld in seat frames sorted. I've still got to make some fillets to box in the plates welded to the sill but once there in I'll...
you'll need to buy a Clio specific boss. They're about ~£50-60 depending on what make you get (OMP, Mountney etc). All after market steering wheels and bosses have the same PCD so it doesn't make much odds what you get.
It's a good step IMO. There is the obvious obsession with having a sport as it is afterall, ClioSPORT.net but people never take into account the extra costs that people may not be able to afford. The 1.6 will give you near enough an extra 30bhp (taking into account that quote figures in...
