im still tryin to work it out the 1.9 d starter is a ten tooth gear and 172 starter is 9 tooth. pcd off the belllhousing looks the same but wouldnt engage so changed the tooth to a ten on a 172 starter and it made that exact noise good work though (has anyone else managed to get theres runnin on...
anyone bought one did it fit ? recently bought a core kit 3 with profiled ends waited almost 6 weeks to find out if i wana get the main hoop in you have to put a rachet strap round it and crease your room skin !!!! never mind any off the other parts that are wrong ?

i understand by what you mean by its the cam profile and that the vvt has more or less nothing to do with ur 5k kick but for some reason when u remove or disconect the solinoid it is almost unnoticeable i dont know if it does explain it in the quote
isnt it 5000rpm when the solinoid opens and lets oil presure into the varible pully so its not in the profile. it is to do with the solinoid ( example if u disconect the solinoid it will not (come on ) as it has standard cams if u put cat cams for example and remove the vvt you loose your kick
when i vvt my missus car smokes like f##k not oil though water i think like a cold mornin but only over 5000rpm
checked oil and water and are both fine and not goin down

most off the parts are avalible from breaker yard etc it can be done for under a grand
anyone know ideal exhaust primary /secondry/lengths and id ?tryed asking about a couple off companys knowone can help me ? also ideal system size ? space is not a problem also 4 into 1 or 4-2-1 thanks
never m8 he said he blew you lol either that or im guna have to show him how to drive it raced plenty off 172 and if i can get 2 lenghts on a scooby from standstill then u must have a rapid 172
yeah i does have uch but this is the ecu to take manual throttle so u dont send of a fly by wire ecu like i did to get decoded and remaped exspensive mistake lol
just get ur ecu decoded 80 pound wire up starter /ignition live /fuel pump lived to ecu / pin 69 i think if its sirius 34 /rewire ur fan if it had aircon/ connect up engine loom plugs etc /put the battery terminal on and away u go / barp barp
