Have to disagree about this thread being rubbish, think its been quite helpful the theme seems to be that the engine needs to be worked during its early days. Just not from cold and not for long periods of time.
I really liked the Ibiza, took me ages to find anything better then it. I think its got more pull then a CTR from about 2-4000rpm, more fun then a mini.

Ive just brought mine, picking it up in a couple of weeks. Very similar situation, its replacing my Ibiza Cupra 20VT.

Ive just brought a 182 after test driving a Cooper S about 3 hours before hand, the mini just felt heavy and slower.
The Clio is a much better hot hatch, how much difference do a few tenths of a second to 60 actually make?
