It's just so wrong. So so wrong. The only things that looks 172ish are the seats, so how he can call it a 172 rep I don't know. I'm off to clean my GENUINE, STANDARD renaultsport clio. Or maybe I'll buy a V6 bodykit and make a V6 rep to the exacting standards of this fine fellow.
^^I might be judging harshly but both these drivers look like they've never driven the circuit before. All their lines are off etc, so don't put too much stock in how the cars compare. It seems more to do with the driver on track, and in the real world the clio is much more usable. Don't worry...
^As above. If circumstances don't change for me and I don't get rid of th'clio then my brother and I fancy a day there. Just before I need new tyres, and then I'll get some new ones put on by a mobile fitter after I finish!
ANYTHING's better than a cup spoiler. Fold a cardboard box up and trap it in your boot lid so it sticks out of the top. That'll look better than a cup spoiler. Hell, build one out of Lego and glue it on. You get the idea! ;)
Saw you coming out of the end of Brampton Road, I was stopped at the set of lights on Stanwix Bank in my black 182. Don't suppose you saw me, but hi anyway!
My brother just payed £160 for the 24k service on his 182, from a Renault main dealer. I looked on Yozzasport and they charge £229, but aren't the independents supposed to be cheaper...? My own 182's 24k service is coming up soon, so how much did you all pay for yours, and from where? Cheers.
The 172 and 182 have a bit of a reputation! Lol they don't suffer fools and a lot get crashed by people doing foolish things. The 197 hasn't got that reputation yet, and as people say they've got more safety and security kit so attract a lower risk loading.
I remember when I changed from a 650cc...
I've just driven from Carlisle to London and back again at 60mph on the cruise. I reckon I'm sensible lol. Well, maybe not, because the only reason I stayed at 60 was to get more mpg out of it so I could keep fuel usage to 2 tanks worth...
I love these threads. How many 197 vs 182/172 threads have we had in the last few months? Ah well, as usual we'll all put our 2 cents or whatever in, and as usual we won't reach any kind of conclusion.
For me, it's a simple choice: quality and stability or that truly 'connected' feeling. Both...
