I'd use the soft if you don't have a machine polisher? I have just clayed mine with the nomal as it had a lot of contamination on the roof and it has marred the paintwork quite a lot! Not a problem as i will machine polish it when the weather gets better.

I priced a self leveller up Thursday and it comes in a kit with the sensor for the rear beam and it worked out at just over £600. I've just disconnected it (it was clicking all the time) and will look for a second hand unit. This is why cars are written off.

Just the headlight unit with no ballast, bulb or self leveller is about £200 plus vat iirc

The airbag light will stay on unti you replace the tensioner and have the airbag ecu reset.

What makes you think the airbags have failed? All that has happenend is a seatbelt pretensioner has been activated! Replace the tensioner and have the airbag ecu reset.

Will i be ok to clean teh 182 seats with a vax and aaa carpet cleaner or will it damage them? Never had Alacantara seats before.

As above any specialists for timing and aux belt change for a 182?

You will need a new pre tensioner for the front belt, simple bolt on job and a new rear belt. Google airbagsforsale.com, you will need to take out the airbag ecu and send it off it will come back with fitting instructions and with you're new seat and pre tensioners the dash light will go off...
