im having a nightmare with spacers too... everyone favours different methods... think general concensus is that universal are s**t. get ones specific to your vehicle.... im looking on fkautomotive.com and venom motorrsports at the moment.... initially wanted 10mm fk spacers... but some folk are...
says on the venom website that the fk spacers 10mm or above come with a hub locating ring so the weight of the car rests on that and not the screws....
would that not be ok considering as i only want 10mm
hi guys
just got some 182 alloys for my 1.2 16v non sport....
wheels hiding in my arches abit.... just going to buy spacers to sort em out...
should i buy 10mm all round or 16mm ? i am planning to lower the car 35 -40 mm in the next few weeks
so want something that will look good once...
cheers dude... Still work in progress... Still to lower and run spacers... prob do that over next few weeks... Then I need to tighten the belt for the sport bumper and wings... :)
cheers guys... Prob won't risk it now .... Dont want
It looking gash... I'm first to point
Out a s**t paintjob on all the chav chariots flying about... :)
what tyre size you running? I'm 195/45/16
would u recommend them? I'm not expecting them to be eibachs... Just wanting something cheap that will do the job and be half decent...
reasonably priced on eBay and the like... even cheaper from fk automotive direct...
Only looking to drop 35-40 mm
Worth using? Anyone used or using these?
only reason I'm thinking of doing it is because the bumper and wings are expensive... Least if I could do it myself I wounlbt be so bad..... sprayed my side strips myself and they turned out good , just scared about scaling it up to something as big as a bumper
Anyone attempted DIY painting their 182 bumper... Thinking of buying one bit spraying myself to help keep cost down...
Anyone tried it themselves ? How'd it turn out
