Dont know if this has been asked before. Petrol gauge: Number 1 for full - I understand. R for empty - confused. Does anyone know what the R stands for?

When my wipers are switched to intermittant there is a anoyingly loud CLICK between each wipe - sounds like a relay. Does my head in, what part do I replace to make it quieter (if possible).

Hopefully a quick question, if I get my car lowered (60mm PI springs) then I should have better handling according to what Ive read on here. But what is meant by better handling, is it just better grip and less roll?

I have Mk2 172 wheels on a 2002 1.2, the n/s back wheel rubs slightly when cornering hard. What size spacers would sort this out, will 5mm be enough, and will I have to get longer wheel bolts to fit them?
