Best heads to use is the 182

All heads are hand done Ported to give good power and torque Developed on a flowbench, Im not releasing flow figures, dyno shows it all anyway. My heads flow better than CNC heads. Heads are done at £400 now but can do deals on them

Crankcase vent. Not something you really want to block off. Vent them to a catch can.

I would say fitting a 182 head to a 172 will cause a loss of performance due to the restriction. I'm not sure what mods we're done to the 182 to get the extra hp from. But it wasn't the head for sure. I have ported a 182 head to better flowing than a 172. The 182 is the best head to have...

Yes they do fit but the 182 has smaller exhaust ports.. This will alter the way the engine can breather.

You could test for me when I get my finger out and I'm not busy doing head work.

To do the inlet its £50. Just need the lower inlet.

Hi there. A ported head is £350 all built up ready to bolt on and sent to your do for that price. If it needs guides then that's extra. Soda blasting is £50 if wanted.

get it ported seeing the head is off, I can happily do it for you including the build. I can also check the guides and it wil come fully built ready to bolt back on.

Cost about £300 to £400? That was my plan as a bolt on job that keeps everything.

Trust me when I say that the heads respond well to head work. Everyone I've done for people on here have had great results from them on the Dyno. Inlet porting has very minimal gains if not none from inlet work..

Well if you need the head doing I would love to see how it can be improved.
