I bought one a month ago. Same spec as above. 53 reg. No climate control though. I wouldn't want it. The trader told me there were 200 ish but i checked the renaultsport site to find the real number.
I drove a number of cars like a type r and a leon cupra r and the likes and just decided I liked the feel of the clio much more. Plus there is the fact that most of my mates have fast ish cars but have noidea mine can wipe the floor with them:D .
And I have always wanted one sinse i can remember.
It's easier with the biting point that high. You only have to rest your foot on it to change gear so it is faster if you are good at it. If your not you end up crunching the gears alot:) . The biting point used to be very low on one of my old cars and that was a pain. Having to push the pedal...
I worked out what I did from the last tank and it was 29 mpg. Considering I got it about a month ago and i'm now getting much more used to the car and driving it pretty hard everywhere I don't think that is too bad.
I know what you mean about the reading being a bit funny. My needle read empty for about 20 miles before i filled up last time and the trip computer said i had 30 miles left. The light hadn't come on though and I only put 45 litres in so it did have a bit to go.
197 if I could afford one. I test drove 5 or 6 before I got the cup, including an R27 but decided it was just out of reach. I will definately have one in the future though.
Everything is 100%. Its not worth risking it. I couln't afford to buy another car if my insurance didn't pay up. Plus, why would i want to modify. It is perfect already;) .
I park miles away from anyone. Most of the time I am the first person in the car park at work. I park in an end space and right over one side of it so anyone who parks next to me is far enough away.
I have found in the past in tight parking situations that taking up two spaces makes people...
Yeah I was also thinking that too. I haven't decided yet. I keep looking back at it when I get out and think they look fine the way they are. I will look at pictures on here and decide.
I have one. Not with climate control though. When it is clean it looks amazing but I haven't cleaned it since I got it two weeks ago. Have been driving it too much lol. Loving it.
I will clean it and take some pictures this weekend.
I was thinking of getting the wheels refubished and painted...
Lol. He didn't seem to care about it much. Still, would you walk across a road knowing cars were traveling along them at that speed on what looks to be a blind corner.
Alright guys.
My dad has had a listen to the car and he reckons it is a loose baffle plate that is making the noise on my car. Which is why it was ticking whilst the engine was still on. Then when i turn the engine off obviously the exhaust ticks when cooling down. They sound exactly the same...
LOL. Funny you should say that. I have done a number of searches today as I have that as well and there were exact descriptions of what noise the carbon canister would make.
My cup does that too but this noise is exactly like an exhaust cooling and contracting but it does it when the engine is...
Yeah i get that. My astra did it and even my old fiat panda did it cooling down but my cup does it when the car is sitting there ticking over. I suppose it is cooling down in a way though as it isn't under heavy use.
I have just got a 172 cup and mine does this too. Was a bit worried about it at first but it doesn't bother me that much.
Does it do it whilst the car is still running? Mine does once I have stopped moving. I can hear it faintly whilst stopped at traffic lights if I open the window.
It's very difficult.
I'm with direct line and as i have 2 years named driver no claims i cant really afford to go elsewhere. I was looking at the possibility of going somewhere else but even at 21 and 2 years of my own no claims no one gave me any sensible offers on a clio.
Direct line wont...
Didn't pay too much. £6000, which from looking on here is possibly a little over priced but it's worth it in my eyes. Good mot, taxed for 6 months and very good condition inside and out.
No climate control. None of the creature comforts but it doesn't bother me.
I put down a deposit on a silver 172 cup today and i'm going to pick it up next week. Can't wait!
It's a 53 reg
37k miles
FRSH (just serviced)
I'm probably paying a little bit over the odds but it is in fantastic condition.
Just phoned up to get it insured. Thats all sorted out with direct line...
