i think the aftermarket dump valve that the previous owner brought had almost destroyed the standard turbo when the stage 2 upgrade was done so he had an Astra VXR turbo put in which is the turbo they use for the Thorney Stage 4 upgrade that he should be getting done in the near future!!!

don't think it has ever been timed at 0-60 as it was built for the 1/4 mile. At TOTB it ran 3 9.7's in a row and then a 9.8 and more has been done to it since then.

i think at Santa Pod there is a beem and the time only starts once you break the beam, which means that after the green light u can sit there for as long as u want prepring your launch and it wont affect your time. Once you launch and break the beam, then the time starts. not sure about other...

an average driver could exploit much more of a clio trophy's performance on track than they could in a V6, thats the problem. put a pro driver in both and i think the V6 would be pulling away!

I was planning to do exactly the same to a silver mk1 172 that im buying soon. I think they will look awesome in anthracite!!! The car will probably needs its wheels refurbed anyway, so was thinking i could get them sprayed at the same time. didn't realise u had to tell insurance tho.

why not get coilovers?? That way you can lower it and it will majorly improve handling.

I was gonna suggest that site 2, thats where I have got alot of my stuff in the past! It helps u make up your mind having everything infront of u aswell. If u want to keep boot space, u can make a false floor and put the amp under it, or just screw it onto, or behind the sub box itself.
