I am not quite sure whats the problem but it sounds exactly the same as a problem i had with a corsa which turned out to be the fuel filter.

Dont knw exactly what u mean, but your engine management lights on so i would give it to someone who knows what they are doing before you cause damage.

Personally i would just change the standard speekers for ones of the same size. Any good make Alpine, Infinity, Pioneer etc. Cant remember the size but either do a search or i am sure someone else knows.

i would replace the standard ones. i put infinity speakers in my old 1.2 with a sony head unit and it sounded really good.
