    I closed this thread because at least two of the people who have posted including the o/p have had "soft" warnings about spamming and sexual innuendo and have gracefully agreed that their behaviour is unacceptable. Its a big ask for them to ignore a question which could revive it.

    Thats one of the recommendations they make on the ADI courses, its also allowed for in the legislation. It gives you greater movement to look over your shoulder.

    First place to check, the fuses and the bulbs.. Then suspect the switch, they are prone to failure, twist it on/off a few times in quick succession. If still no joy, check the relays, after that its a trip to have your pockets emptied.

    Easiest way is to pull the connector at the end of the buckle keep, and short the two wires out. Don't forget to insulate them.

    American style 2 flat pins, but they also have the Euro 2pin style in some Hotels. If your in a Hotel, they normally provide loan adaptors, Enjoy !

    You will need to take the door cards off then remove the plugs that connect the rubber cable grommet between the front edge of the door and the A post (you will need a Torx driver) you will see there are spare holes in both half of the plug and socket. Use two of the lower holes and drill...

    Towing frames, or A brackets as they are called, don't negate the need to have the vehicle Taxed, Insured and MoT,d. Only a full lift gets you round that.
