Ive tried soaking it and blasting with the pressure washer. The only thing that seems to get it off (the hairline splashes anyway) is to gently pick it off with my fingernail. Not ideal, and very time consuming. Its stuck on pretty hard.

Somehow theres dried on cement on the inside of the front wheel arch, along the underside of the sill and splashes on the bottom of the drivers door. I suspect that its come from the building site next door to the local Renault dealers as the car has made three visits there in the past two...
Well - Im impressed. They returned the car and due to my little paint marking on the sump plug and sump (sneaky I know) the oil has been changed. Theyve even replaced the sump plug (again). I can only assume its got the right oil in now of course - no invoice etc as they replaced it FOC.
but Im stuck now. They sent me a letter this morning that says..

Great - only other place is Reg Vardy in Sunderland, but Ive had a fall out with them too....

Dropped the car off at 8am yesterday for 12K service and to fix the usual knock from the front engine mount.
3:30pm - phone call to say no knock can be heard. Explained in great detail what the knock was and how to re-align the mount to stop it.
4:pm phonecall to...
not many I agree, but I aways had a spare. It worries me not having a spare, suppose if I was prepared to sacrifice the boot space I could put another wheel in there instead..
It just puzzles me why they didnt use the technology when its available and very applicable in the circumstances...
Im no expert on these matters, but why didnt reno put Run Flat tyres on the 182, rather than using those cans of cottage cheese? I personally have no intention of using the foam if I get a puncture - Ill be ringing for a mobile tyre repair..
I appreciate that the RF tyres have stiffer...
Ive got an iPaq one, with external antenna under the clear rectangle in the windscreen. Works fine now, but without the ext antenna it just wouldnt work at all.
