Its cheap for that reason imo.
EDIT: It might not even require a log book mate, it might have been put back on the road and just has a dent thats all. It might be just the way he wrote it. :)

The tyre was actually only changed 2weeks ago at Hyde Road Tyres. And they put the bolts back on with there gun. The car was feeling wobbley these past few days so i checked them last night to find 1 was loose, tried tightening it and it just snapped clean...
How f**king shite are they! Was getting some wheel wobble at 50mph so thought i should check them, passenger wheel 1 of the nuts seemed to be loose so i started tightening it. Next minute it snapped clean off :|
So great rolling on 3 wheel nuts cos half a bolt is now stuck in the hub. How safe...

Whats the lowest quote you guys are getting? All the renewal quotes im getting back on my 172 are 3.5k with 1 year ncb! f**k that for a laugh ive just shelled out £2.5k throughout the last year on insurance!

Had to wait 6 months before i was able to insure it tho! Was absolutely buzzing the 1st time i got to drive it! Ahh the memories :)
Now i have a PH2 172 and its just like meh...
Should be able to get any bucket seat mate although you will have to get the subframes made up. Check out the recaro treadlines made for the 182 trophy, they are quite rare but do pop up in the forsale section with subframes and they recline.
Fitting people in the back would be a ballache with...

Sounds like you got a good 1 there! Its hard to find a 172 without stone chips all over the bonnet and bumper and the occasional battlescar :rasp:
They are great cars for the amount they cost and run very well despite 90% of them have been raped in the past probably lol
