Renault will sell you a replacement,£5 ish. You will have to go back to the dealer who serviced it to get it stamped though as Renault dont keep a central record of when a car was serviced.(Assuming you had it serviced at Renault)

Ive seen the 197s being built on the production line in Dieppe, they are hand sprayed. Every seam is seam sealed, the shell is warmed up and hot wax is sprayed into every crevice, very well protected IMO.
