Agreed! Can't beat a MacBook on build quality and battery life, if that's what youre after.
Iv got a Sony Vaio and I wouldn't buy another another one, its got a bluray drive I never use (Netflix and other streaming services are so much easier). Many black screen of death and WiFi keeps...
Plenty more useful apps and endless customisation it just gives you more control over the device. There really are no cons to it, you don't lose anything by having it down.

Both are decent drives, decent speed and plenty of cache too. Not a bad price either considering HDDs have...
If it weren't for my iPhone 4S, id probably would have gotten a Samsung Galaxy Nexus or a Galaxy S2 both really good alternatives especially if you're after a decent android phone.
Yeah it needs to be jailbroken. When you do jailbreak it youll need winterboard (get through cydia) and then you just download themes from cydia and apply through winterboard, pretty simple process. Iv yet to find a decent theme so iv left it stock :(
If you're not too fussed about keeping history info and whatnot you could try the private browsing option (safari bit in the settings) that might help it and it'll save having to clear the cache all the time.
Might be worth having a look at some bridge cameras, in between a compact and DSLR. Iv got a Fuji Finepix S2500, its been a great camera and takes decent shots. Although my cameras getting on a bit now. Panasonic DMC-FZ38 is a good one for the price it is now, like the above post you'll probably...
Not used the Lumia 800, but it looks like a nice phone and Windows Mobile looks pretty cool, although you wont have as many apps on it. If you're bored with the iPhone 4 then the 4S wont change that :/ Maybe wait for the iPhone 5 this year?
Or maybe an android phone? Endless customisations...
Its not a bad app and does quite a good job, although it is quite steep in price lol, but if thats not a major issue then its probably one of the better ones on the app store. There are quite a few cheaper ones, GPS Navigation 2 does quite a good job...
Did you try a different USB cable? Even if its still charging the wires responsible for the data transfer might have split, the cables pretty crap and they do break easily iv gone through loads! If it still doesn't work after that, might be useful if you could try plugging it into another PC see...
Do other USB devices work on the laptop? Also have a look inside device manager see if it recognises the iPhone (should be under portable devices).
Shouldn't be down to iTunes, laptop should still recognise the device even without iTunes installed.
If you want some of your old apps back, you...
I'm getting a weird noise when I start the car, although it only lasts about a second after start up its started to bug me the past few days. Its sort of like a buzz/grind sound, but then goes away after a second or two. Car drives fine after and hasn't failed to start yet. Its pretty much the...
On Virgin Media 30Mb(to be doubled soon!), can't really fault them so far, great speeds and rarely cuts off. The Virgin media super hub isn't the best, but it does the job I suppose.
They're good if you're in an area that can't get good speeds through ADSL (I could'nt get more than 1Mbs before).
Got a white iPhone 4S, prefer the look of it to the black ones, but they show up dirt a lot easier than the black ones :( bit of a pain if you like things clean.
Hmmm not keen on their "up to 149" value for all generation devices, so I wouldn't trust them probably give you a daft quote for it. I sold my 4th Gen iPod touch(8g) for 100 on gumtree a few months back so it might be work sticking it on there as its free and no silly ebay fees! Or you could...
Think it took a good few weeks to find mine, not fun when you really want your first car :( . Doubt you'll get a decent DCi for your price range, also if you're not going to do that many miles then it probably wont save you all that much money in fuel. But yeah as others have said you might have...
Bad times :( think I used a plastic bag at one point to cover the sunroof and a towel on the seat lol.
This is the thread I found a while back, seems like a decent fix until you can get it done properly.
