have you tried swapping entire headlight units over to see if its the wiring or any parts of the unit (bulb ballast etc)
ive done this and then determined from that that its the wiring at fault
its going into birchdown for the actual problem next wednesday as renault wanted a ridiculous amount to even find the fault. so hopefully they will be able to seal it properly.
if not. then it is back to renault just for that
Had a fault with my headlight and renault took it apart.
started to get condensation in it :(
ive searched and read through cant any find and permanent cure.
Does anyone have any?
wait for a sale. going to be harder over christmas id imagine tooby
the time youve broke it, sold everything, gone threw the hassle, id say thatd take a couple of weeks and in that time it might sell and how much easier would that be
Revels - couldnt get through earlier.
Jesus - lights are fine its thewiring itself.
Picked it up from renault before and argued my case that theyve not actually diagnosed anything in all fairness, theyve only told me what i told them but then wanted more to look at it further. so theyve let...
the £192 is the fee for finding the fault as they have to trace things back apparently which takes around 2 hours.
the £50 was a diagnosis fee, and theyve not diagnosed anything as far as i know. just said 'we think its the wiring but wont know until weve spent 2 hours and you £192" i agreed...

Took it to renault who wanted £50 to find out the problem, which was fair enough and I told them it wasnt the above parts.
They rang this afternoon to tell me that they 'think' its the...

When is the best time to sell a car generally?
Obviously not over christmas but is there a peak in the market at any particular time?
im not saying id buy budgets because i wouldnt. im not saying that at all, i understand that theyre the one part on the car that shouldnt be skimped on.
my point is that 90% of the driving population probably do buy budgets, and the massive majority dont seem to have a problem as they drive to...
i can see your point which is why i mentioned braking distances
BUT
id imagine 90% of the people on the roads run budgets and are fine. my mum, auntie, grandmother etc etc probably buy budgets and have never had problems. granted youre at an increased risk, but massively? not really if you...
i sent mine off and received it back, but even a week after receiving it back theyve still not claimed the cheque it seems.
this usually happen when it takes a little longer?
depends if you tootle about or give it some stick.
if my mum drove my car id look at cheaper sets (not that i love her any less i just know she drives like a doris)
however i push my car sometimes and want that extra bit.
saying that even in the need for an emergency stop id imagine better...
