Welcome mate, saw that this is your first post. Easiest way to access the acoustic valve is remove the wheel and the wheel arch liner, from that.(see link above) you can then easilt unscrew the bolts that hold the valve. VBy removing this valve is allows you to fit a much larger cold air feed...

One thing in the pic above. I thought the other tube was a tube relating to the air con not the battery?

Think max torque on a 1.2 is about 5500rpm. You don't have redline as the car works out the red line for you depending on the engine temperature. Think the 172/182's have got it just for sporty look, but my 182 hits the limiter just as |I creep into the first redline at 7250rpm!

Its a 15min job to change it. I had one get smashed on my old clio, but touch wood it hasn't happened to my 182
Im still smiling after 2 and a bit years of ownership. Great little cars. And don't be put off by it because its French. (French= slightly rattly car!)

Have now also added a heat shield which I must get a pic of. On Hot days there is still the heat soak problem (although even a panel filter would still suffer) But on cooler days there is defo a feel...
Thats great MrBillyUK. Nice custome mod. Have you noticed improved performance on Hot days, or mainly just the cooler ones? Surely must aid some of the heat soak!??
