My dads M Class was stolen a while back, was scratched and had some scuffed wheels. It was found and consequently repaired. Good as new. Absolutely nothing wrong with it. I don't know why some people are so negative about getting their cars back if they were nicked. I'd be damn upset...

I recently got 43mpg over 200 miles so a 182 isn't exactly the worst for economy.

So that means there is no danger of losing the codes and everything on a clio key when you change the battery? Would be handy to know as I've always been a bit worried about that.

The bronze V6 had been in GDIs workshop for ages when I last went down.

What sort of gains have you had by having the car chipped? I wouldn't have thought it would be more than 2-4bhp without fitting the exhaust. Surely its pretty much wasted money?

Got 43mpg over a 210 mile trip last Weds/Thurs. Was up to 49.5 at one stage but got onto single carriageway roads so had some fun. My best is 49.8mpg over 70 miles from Leeds>Nottingham.
