Which garage are you going to for your test drive in Cheltenham Stu? Is it at Hyltons as I have ordered my 182 from there and will be interested to know if they have them in yet.
Err... the Cup suspension is harder, so the ride is worse!
Ok, I can see how this answer could have gramatically confused you.
Yes, in reply to your question, I have not ordered the cup suspension pack with my 182.
I drove a 172 on a test drive before I ordered mine, and that handled well enough for me, so if they have improved the handling and ride on a standard 182 then I will be happy.
I think most people will pick the cup pack because of the difference in looks more than the performance changes it...
Has anyone had any experience of, or going to take up GAP insurance on their motor? My dealer was trying to sell it to me when I ordered my 182 for £299, but as yet I have not yet made my mind up whether to take it or not. It is supposed to make up the difference between your insurance...
I have ordered the Artic Blue. Partly because I havnt had blue car for a long time and also because black can be a bit of a bugger to keep looking clean (although I think both the car looks good in either colour).
I managed to find out from my dealer today that they expect it some time after the 16th of Feb (after an original delivery date of shortly after the 21st of Jan), and I only had to ring the dealer 3 times and a journey down there to get that out of them.
Heres looking forward for some top...
I have seen the delivery sheet at the dealers and it says that mine should have left Dieppe on the 21st on Jan, so they will be expecting it to arrive sometime between then and Jan 31st.
We will see.................
What price have people been quoted for a 182 from a dealer. The price I am paying is £14,600, which is the full price I know but I am getting a good deal part ex?
I am not sure why you saved money on the paint Dave182, but it is the same priced car with or without the metallic finish. Also, the CD changer is standard. Has your dealer been telling you porkys?
I have ordered mine in the Artic Blue, but as yet no delivery date (mind you, I have not made...
In reality, .1 or .2 of a second is irrelevant, it is the driver that makes the difference. People get far too strung out on this 0-60 figure.
On modern roads these days, it is the mid range torque that is the important factor. When you cant get past the sunday driver, that is what I find most...
Spoke to the Renault dealer today, and he said the wheels were the same size on the 182 as the 172, so I think I will have to wait and see what the brochure says when it comes out.
Would I be able to fit the wheels from a Cup version onto the 182 as the 182s are bigger, or is the difference too much? I would prefer the Cup wheels but I dont want to lose performance from having to choose a smaller tyre because of it.
I know, I know. But I am going to be doing more travelling soon, and I want to keep the smiles per miles value up.;)
The only 2 cars that I like are the Civic type R and the Clio, but I think the Clio has better kit for just a little less speed.
Out of the 2, which one is the darker (this is the one I would prefer)? I will have to pre order and I dont want to pick the wrong colour and wish I had the other one!
