its quicker for mr to burn a cd than it is to put the same amount of songs on my ipod. a lot quicker. cds are the best wasy. the mp3 headunits are coming up quite cheap now as well.
I can upload 3000 songs to my iPod in 30mins, so...
Hi Andy, its so easy to fit, personally I didnt disconnect the battery, all I did was whip the HU unit out, connect the different parts of the cable together and feed it through a hole in the glovebox. There is only one hole that it will fit in on the back of the HU, then slide the HU back in to...
Surely you could do Renault under Trades Description, goods have to be fit for the purpose they are intended, nobody expects a car or its seats to last only a year, so unless you have been using the seats for something other than sitting on, you would have a valid case.

I know of plenty of 6600s using 512mb sd mmc cards!! And supposedly 1gb isnt a problem either! :)
SD and MMC are too different types of card, SD is the newer version of MMC and does not work in the 6600, also I said that cards...
I dont think the 6600 officially supports MMC cards over 256mb, and there are some compatibility issues with some cards. Have a look at this http://www.mobymemory.comsite for MMC cards which are guaranteed to work.
In the details bit where it says model year - 2004, is obviously a typo as elsewhere it says its a 2003 car in large font, 53 reg is from 1st Sep 2003 to 29 Feb 2004, and 03 is from 1st Mar 2003 to 31st Aug 2003.
@rugbyfiend
I bought my icelink about 6 months ago and it doesnt display ID3 tags, would be nice, but doesnt really bother me.
@Clart
Yes mate, it just plugs into your changer port, nice and easy.
Hi, I have the Dension icelink and its a fantastic piece of kit, I know £130 seems a lot for a lead to connect your iPod to your H/U, but IMO its well worth it, I just leave my iPod in the glovebox out of sight and use the steering wheel controls to flick through thousands of songs. Its a...
Sorry mate, just read the other thread, the icelink kit contains a cable that is for Sony CD changers which provides aux in, this connects to standard Renault H/Us, and you can get Sony CD changers with this cable to fit to manufacturers H/Us, but never seen the cables sold on there own Im afraid.
Have a look at this site http://www.ihavetohave.ithttp://www.ihavetohave.it, and give Renault a ring to verify the maufacturer. Its £130 for the cable, but you can use the steering wheel controls to change track on the ipod. Miles better than the FM transmitters.
How about getting an iPod? You can get one for £205 from Dabs.com, and a lead from ihavetohave.it and connect it too your standard Renault H/U, or I think new Alpine H/Us work with iPods.
Hi, I have an iPod connected via iceLink to my Clios standard fit head unit, and it is sat in the glovebox all the time, because I can control it with my stereo remote and it is out of site of thieving mailto:b@stards">b@stards. Oh, and Im well pleased with it, 2,500 songs at my fingertips and...
