Install looks crap to me. The tv/screen is wonky. The leather(?) around the subs looks shocking and can see wrinkles/grooves. The ICE lighting is poor and doesn't light up much at all. Power cap looks out of place and just chucked into position.

Yeah, the twinport corsa is good competion for the clio, but never had any problems with a punto. My bro has a 1.3 punto and often have to wait for him to catch up with me. The punto sporting maybe 16v though? My bro's is only 8v

If you can afford it, go for a 1.4. Low engine sized clios are nippy compared to other simliar engine sized cars. The electric problems I've never heard of, but the cars do rattle alot and interior panels seem to come loose on mine. If the gti is a more powerful car than a 1.4 and got better...

My extreme 3 is black, but does have this ugly orange barcode thing going on in the interior. It's the model down from the dynamic, but is near enough the same car. Mine was slightly cheaper than a dynamic too. Dunno what the extreme 4's are like though

shaun's covered the basics. There is a stronger matting that is lighter than 'normal' and is similar to carbon fibre. Can't remember the name though, but we used it for a team in the british superbikes championship

Has to come from one of your interior lights, either the one inside the car or the one inside the boot. The boot light is the easiest to run wires from as you don't have to mess about with the roof liner etc.
