Yup, they're sitting on the table next to me (the pads that is) The guys at motorsport world emailed me after I placed the order saying "hey; you SURE these are the ones you want?"
Just gotta fit them now :] (which I have a thread about in the other section of the forum... lol, its fun...
Cheers, I figured it would be easy... but with it being BRAKES and all (the whole life-saving element...) I thought I'd double check...
If I dont post for a while, u can assume I got it wrong...

Type R - 197bhp - 1200kg - 6.4seconds
172 - 172bhp - 1035kg - 7.0seconds
182 Trophy - 182bhp - 1090kg - 6.9seconds
They're the official figures... the clio has the better power to weight ratio, but with the Civic's i-Vtech 2-litre, it's probably gonna win 1st gear.
As for...
Ok, I ordered some pads for my 1.4RT, im not the most mechanical chappie, but im gonna fit them myself.
What do I need? I've heard of brake pad fitting kits? Are these essential?
Is it a P of P to do? I'm learning as I go along with this clio... fitted my induction kit myself with no...
Matt Neal is a cool guy, I got my wheels (team dynamics/rimstock) from the factory, and I've seen him there a few times, last year, his BTCC Civic (road legal) was in teh car park!
His dad drives some spankingly good cars too!

Well, to work on the under of the car you'd have to remove the diffuser...and it's very likely to rattle and annoy you to death.... none of that with a spoiler...

The whole oval speaker not being as good as circle one is a lil' bit of rubbish... the larger cone of a 6*9 deals with bass.... it's non-directional, and our ears can tell the least difference in quality of bass than any other sound. 6*9s are a cheap way of adding volume in my opinion, just...
I have a leccy sunroof and have the same problem.
It comes around the light and switch for the interior light, I assumed it was sunroof, didnt even think of aerial....bye bye aerial! I dont listen to the radio anyway! :)

I have almost the same problem.
1997 R plate RT
The drivers switch lowers the window.... but doesnt raise it (unless u press the buton hard...)
The passengers switch lowers and raises the window (REALLY SLOWLY)
Dunno what it is.... well, I do... its RENAULT, but I dunno how to solve it...
Dont really see the point of the diffuser, if they're trying to achieve downforce or at least "Zero-lift" why not just make the spoiler a lil' bigger? A rear under-diffuser seems a little.... over the top...

I guess when you see a BNR34, you dont care the consequences, but you ARE gonna overtake it! And... well, he did.... but I think the R34 may have re-took that position...

Civic R rocks. Its the only one of the three I've driven, everything about the driving experience is amazing. The engine sound alone is epic. The styling is sweeeeet too... "bread van" ?? Nah, just aerodynamic and safe :)
Bow to the power of the red emblem!

Good pics! I like how you started taking individual car pics along the line, then just got bored of trying to hold the camera still for 4-seconds :P lol.
t'was good fun! What next? :)

Arches look a lil' empty at the top, mabye lower 30 more mm, but, good luck with practical driving.... and the orange side indicators look out of place.
Apart from that, it's pretty nifty.

I remember Maka's car, remember driving behind him... but, as soon as everyone got out it was like "wha, who came from where...?!?! meeep!"
and then there's the "oh, yea... I have the silver Mk.2" its like... "hmmm..." there were 5-6 silver mk.2s :)
Cant wait to do something again...
LoL, yup, the guy who ragged first gear, poor corsa... nearly blew up!
In heinsight we should have convoyed up to Longford Island McDonalds... that's probably where the Corsa was going!!! :P
We'd probably all loose our alloys if we stopped moving, but I think the amount of neons on show at...
They're easy to clean, but easy to dirty!!!!
The front two take about 5mins each to get spotless, the back two take about 2mins!
but, they take about 2 days to get filthy! :P Living in the country side just isnt working! :P
Cant wait to get it lowered. I'm consider.... *HIDES* .... RED...
Shark, Spark...Sharky... ? Im new here, so I dont know many forum names, but im sure it was something like that :) I was too busy drooling (...at the cars paintwork...) to remember.

Hmmm... warm... winter... england. Not feeling the love!
Well, saves messing up my side-strips, I'll prolly get some from a scrap-yard, experiment with them ( I've never sprayed 'owt ) and then if they turn out ok, ave a crack at the bumpers. Then there's handles, mirror-surrounds, etc...
I just need to decide what to do with the plastic trim.
Red (colour coded)
Black (propper black, not faded-last millenium grey)
White (eurgh...I think this'd ruin it)
Cant stand the crappy grey... I tried "Back to black" but that just did naff all.
Ah well... think i'll just paint it...
I really didnt want a red car, but, I guess it's kinda cool being a lil' more unique. The red and white is pretty funky, or at least it will be when I get rid of the horrible faded grey plastic trim!
It was my first meet, and I gotta say, from near the back of the convoy, it looked pretty...
Yup, getting her slammed within the fornite... -60mm or -55mm depending on which suspension my clio has. Ordered new pads, so I'll fit those and measure the strut-bold spacing at the same time... then order and hey presto!
Yours was a silver 172 next to mine? What were ya wearin'? (sorry! too...
