If its down to 2 cylinders then its more than likely an ignition coil issue as these are wasted spark iirc.
have you pulled one lead off at a time whilst engine is running to determine which cylinders are missing?
If its 1 and 4 or 2 and 3 then would be looking down the ignition side...
