Yeah thats the set up I had before the yozza. Mine sagged like that also. I fitted the yozza on the same hangers and its tucked up perfectly. The k-tec is very heavy in comparison.
Let me know if you wanna meet up sometime to have a butchers at the yozza.
Tis a shame your a money grabbing t**t ;)
We'll have to organise a trip down soon. Its very addictive.
Would be better to go on a dedicated RWYB day.
There was a load of american cars and bikes etc on inbetween runs.
lol knowsit, this was my slip from a run with a 182. The lads on here didn't get his name but nice guy.
His reaction time and 60ft are better. But the cup reeled him in;)

Just sold my V-maxx, currently running fk konigsports all though they are too low at the moment. I just threw them on last saturday, they need abit of fettling and setting up properly. I was impressed with the V-maxx for the money.
I noticed your centre section looked very low. Is it a k-tec...
Wish I'd seen this before today.
I was down there yesterday. First time down a 1/4 mile strip and really enjoyed it.
Very addictive, my best run from 5 was 14.4.
Let me know how you boys get on.:)
Hi,
That was me. I'd been down to york raceway for some 1/4 mile RWYB action.
Yours looked very low also. Whats it lowered on?
The yellow turinis looked awesome. (Got me thinking about a refurb on the black oz f1s);)
I experienced this when i fitted a k-tec stealth to mine.
I strengthened the visualy ok mounts with airline pipe/cable ties etc and fiddled with adjustment on the back box.
Just trial and error really.
Is it a heavy system?
Second hand so no removable cap.
Just taken it out for a little drive and the back end was very bouncy and jumpy.
Haven't got time now but I'll have a play with the settings tommorow.
Has anyone tried fitting strut top washers with these?
As I fitted them to begin with and there wasn't...
Thanks for the quick reply.
I didn't notice any +/- but there probably there.
Like you say road test against opposite ways sounds good.
I've set them right down at the back and just enough to fill the arch at the front.
But I'll be having a play with heights before I get them set up...
I'm just fitting some kw konigsorts to my car.
It seems the dampening adjusters are on top of the struts where its threaded?
Can anyone explain how the adjustment works on them please.
ie. furthest clockwise softest setting etc.
Also I'm fitting some 5mm eibach spacers at the same time...
Dead easy mate, a bench vice is best but a 'g' clamp should work.
I did mine in a vice. Just press a socket that will fit through the gap on the alloy onto a larger socket to allow the rubber bush to come out.
The poly ones push in by hand. I used a scoth pad to clean the mount out and abit...
try these; http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/CLIO-SPORT-172-182-MINTEX-REAR-BRAKE-DISC-BEARING-PADS-/220600415181?cmd=ViewItem&pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item335ccf33cd
The link says abs ring excluded but ring them they'll do them just can't find the link.
Mintex are fine for the rear.
Not to be an asshole, but I wouldn't use a process that required lacquer if your painting grills/ black plastics etc.
Only my opinion but grills etc. lacquered could look abit tacky.
No need to support the engine with a jack. Easy to press old bushes out with a bench vice or g clamp with a selection of sockets or steel tube.
Poly bushes go in easy enough by hand.
I wouldn't use white primer tbh, dark grey or black would be better.
Over time you'll get the odd stone chip and the white will show through.
I'd use plasti-coat stuff they sell in boyes personally. They do matt black and I think you can apply it straight to plastics.
Just give it a very...
