My MK3 is a 1.5DCI. I assume yours is the 80bhp model as opposed to the newer which are 86. They are quick for a diesel and very economical. On the days where I dont drive with a lead foot I can get up to 70mpg - but day to day I still get over 50. Have a test drive, I think you'll be surprised.

Ok, how about somebody makes me a nice printable PH-SLOW in the Trophy font so that I can have it lazer cut onto vinyl for my DCI.

I'm happy(ish) to spend money on the mges stuff, because although it is kinda pricey, it is good quality stuff, and will last for quite a while. When you consider a carwash at the garage is 3 to 4 quid a time, and its crap anyway :)
