Thanks for the ball park figure, I've never had to buy a windscreen so atleast I know if its more than £300 there taking the pish.

If it can't be fixed what's the rough price of a new windscreen fitted?

Got tpft insurance I could probs get windscreen cover but won't be worth it my excess is a few hundred £s being a young guy :( Hope it can be repaired I'll go to autoglass and get a quote tomorrow.

WHY IS EVERYONE SHOUTING!!

I got a chip in my windscreen 1 day after owning my car it's a tiny chip with a crack that runs through it about 1cm in length. Crack is huge compaired to the circular chip. Will this fail an mot? It's straight in font on me as I sit in the driverseat.

I can phone if you like? I've got spare time. How many card do we have? What dates roughly we thinking?

Sounds well harsh on regs down in England. I did a track session at knockhill and they never even checked the noise limit.

I remember hearing that the one in dalgety bay got taken over and has had new rollers installed at the end of last year I think.

Oh that's a bit sh*t mate sounds like relatively easy fixes though. Mines running fine after getting the head gasket replaced (didn't know it was broken when I bought it) and timing done. It just needs tidied up a bit refurb of wheels some new tires and that's about it.

Do the head bolts just work themselves loose or do they stretch? There the only Renault specialist I know local and I checked and they use the genuine locking tools for timing.

Absolutely gutted to say the least!!! Car went into get the timing belt and aux belt done a few hours later the garage phone me saying that there is oil leaking from the head so the head gasket needs done and it would be cheaper to fix it now rather than leave it and get it done another time...

That's what I thought but wasn't sure so thought I would ask. It's ordered now :D

Quick question I have a 54 plate 182 will it have the twisted dogbone mount or just the inline dogbone mount? I'm wanting to buy uprated bushes but I'm unsure on which ones to get and my car is at the garage so I can't check. Thanks
