Hi all,
The new Serious Performance website is now live! (www.seriousperformance.co.uk)
There are some important changes so please take note:
The biggest difference to the way SP will be run is that there will be a change to the club / forum discount scheme. Rather than having two or...
We've been doing Collinite since we started four years ago but, it's only been the past couple of winters where it's become really popular now people know how good it is. This also means more traders are 'jumping on the bandwagon' now that the work has been done but, it does get the name out...
A warm damp MF cloth, of an upholstery sponge would be all I'd use..... I agree with Rich and G&B.... Just be careful if you use any products on it...
Cheers.
Hi all,
The Oct offer is now unfortunately closed.
The UK distributor is now comletely out of Aquawax and new stock is not due from the States for two weeks.
I'll have a think and see if theres any other offer I can run for the remainder of Oct later on.
Many thanks.
Alex.
It's been finished for a couple of weeks now but, the payment processing has had niggles... The site should go over to the live payment server by the weekend, then it's just a case of switching the site on! (finally!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! lol).
Lol... Don't worry Rich. I have stopped doing most of the Meg's Consumer range (the stuff you can now get in Halfords), except things like mitts and drying towels etc. I do the Detailer range which I carry stock for most items or order in, and I still do some of the Pro Range... #83, #80 and...
You can use it either way as long as the suns not to strong... Either panel at a time,, couple of panels at a time, or the whole car.... It remains easy to buff off so just see what you feel comfortable doing.
That regime should be fine as well, although the light cleaners in the VMW will...
Hi all,
This month Serious Performance are offering a product called Aquawax from a new UK brand Duragloss. Aquawax is basically a spray sealant that works either while you dry your car, or as a great top up sealant between coats of wax or sealant. Most importantly at this time of year though...
You'll get a very good shine from the Collinites. They give quite a reflective shine compared to a deep glossy shine..... The durability (and fab beading) make up for that though :).
Go easy with the SSR 3. Don't use to much at a time and you will definately need to use speed 6 or the pad will clog reasonably quickly, as the machine will struggle to break the abrasives down effectively. It's a good polish though so sure you'll get some nice results :).
Poorboys SSR 2 or Prima Swirl if working by hand to remove any light defects or swirls, followed by Clearkote Vanilla Moose Wax and Clearkote Carnauba Moose Wax for a super deep finish.
Cheers. :).
You can use it on whatever you wish but, we cannot take responsibility for any misuse of our products!!!! :D Lol...
clio 1.6 16v ... Yes, 10% by cheque or 6.5% by Paypal at the moment, although it will all change when the new site is up and running. Theres no disc through Ebay I'm afraid...
Hi all,
Got an order in from Collinite yesterday which wasn't quite right, so I have an abundance of 845 Liquid Insulator Wax at the moment... Anyway, it mean't a September 'Autumn's on it's way' offer was nice and easy!
Collinite 845 Insulator Wax is a heavy duty liquid wax originally...
I'd go with P21S Wax or Poorboys Natty's Blue. You could do this as often as you want, I'd say once every 3-4 washes and for each in between wash, go with a product like Prima Hydro, a 'wax as you dry' product that gives a great shine and although it doesn't give much protection, it will top up...
Hi all,
Serious Performance will be closed from Aug 23rd - Aug 31st due to annual holiday.
All orders received before 4pm on Tuesday (22nd) will be despatched as normal. Anything after this time will be sent from the 31st when I return.
Many thanks one and all.
Alex
If your only doing one layer of Harly, as long as your not doing it on hot panels or in the sun, you can do half the car at a time with no probs...... You don't need the QD either then as it will have time to cure properly.
if your using it in hotter weather, or in the sun, one panel at a time...
Chaps,
Similar to P21S... You can let Harly dry a bit more than P21S before removing. and as for colours it helps... Again, it's a bit like P21S in that it's a good all rounder. Gives a nice glossy finish on lighter colours, and gives that real deep sheen on darker cars.
Natty's Blue...
