im going to be spraying my Renault badges next week and i have a good idea what im doing but the only thing im unusre of is what "grit" wet and dry paper to use for sanding down inbetween the primer coats before the final coloured paint is applied....

i know im not an expert... but the passenger one doesn't look that bad??!! i think it looks pretty straight... the drivers is on the slant and the bubbles in the boot one would hash me off! id say buy them and do then yourslef tbh
yh but standard silver looks crap and looks like you can't be bothered to make ur car look good with those little finishing touches its only a can of spray paint nd its easy enough to swop them for a standard or paint back

yeah i agree with this guy you've tried to do too-much on a low budget which is understandable coz its ur first car
try make it look "smart" tho not different and stand out from the crowd :S
i think some diff wheels and paint ur calipers silver with your drums.....get some dynamique wheels...
Go Apex 40mm all-round mate... and if you don't know what your doing with fitting springs etc dont touch it if you get your finger trapped or the spring compressor slips it will be bad. take it to someone you know and is familar with the job and you can trust to do it properly not a bodge job...

I would like to spray my front renault diamond, and will therefore want to remove it and i don't want to go heavy handed and rip it off and break it. i was just wondering, as there are lots of guys on here who take them off and spray them, if you could give me a guide as to how to do...
They're illegal if you get them form the wrong places but if they are done properly with the right refelctive paint, printed postcode and bsi number then they do the same thing as the ordinary plastic equivalent and are therefore legal they have to go through an E.U. test for the reflectivness...
