the bonnet had been previously machined with the megs g220, and then lime primed and coated with victoria collectors. having been kept under a cover there was no need to clean it so used some last touch before applying a coat of banana armour and its fantastic. first wax ive used on the sub...
having searched the thread for seemingly days ive seen two people mention that renault do an exchange service for faulty radiators.
does anybody know anything about this, for instance do i get a new radiator, or a refurbished one, and whats the likely costs.
otherwise ive found a new...
well having used both i can honestly say that i would go for the g220 everytime. and i cant really see any benefits that the pc has.
the megs machine feels lighter, is quieter imo, its better balanced and due to the D handle means its alot easier to work with as you can get a really...
how i bought her completely standard and tatty in places. mainly in need of servicing, wheel refurb and interior accessories but i just had to have it :D
wheels refurbed in pewter:
got the wheel replaced with a momo millennium evo and sprayed the door handles up. also had a...
seen a couple of people on detailingworld using a random orbital sander as an alternative to a pc polisher. tbh i would prefer a random orbit sander as it means i can use it as an actual sander as it has alot greater rpm speed. however a pc has a rpm of about 2500-6000. whereas almost all of...

dont really need to say more.... think it won car of the year on the old cliosport a few years back
Just a few sneeky pics, getting some good ones when the weathers better. It was a full days graft fitting all the bits and bobs, had loads of little problems, think it was worth it though!
my front passenger side archliner has come loose, think the little plug thing that holds the two liners together has gone missing. so has anybody got any suggestions over what i could use - as currently its bouncing around and catching the tyre and generally pissing me off.
i was thinking of...
Big thanks to ali for recommending the bloke off ebay for the decals, top top quality and pretty cheap to. Just a quick pic, wanted to test out the girlfriends k850i :)
As no one else appeared to bring a camera, i got the missus to take some record shots on her phone. Was a huge meet! thanks everyone for turning up and making an effort, was great to meet some new people, and catch up with some old faces.
s**t pics, but then thats why they're sneeky!
was going dark and had a passer by (in the form of Has) was harassing me ;)
Big thanks again to dave (minivalver) for helping me fit the konigsports, couldnt have done it without him.

looks like a minter
managed to get an advisory over 'noisy exhaust' :D
bit of a joke really when you consider its nowhere near as loud as most other cars at cliosport meets, or even the local chavs. so next time i might be really pedantic and shove a sponge in the tailpipe to see what he says.
Just a few pics, most of them are of my car though, yes i am a pic ***** :) Nice to meet some new people, and catch up with the old ones. Lovely weather too, shame i wear glasses and now look reminisent of a panda lol.
cars done this a few times so was looking at things i could look into fixing.
basically when i slam on the brakes on a few occassions the car has stepped out to the right from the rear and wanted to go into the next lane. first coupe of times i thought it was due to the conditions, but now...
Few pics of a couple of new additions to the sub. No real mods but ever little counts ;). Also a really nice day here in sunny old stoke so thought i'd take the opportunity to take a few pics.
gonna be a little while before all the other mods go on, mainly because they're gonna be bloody...

extremely good buy for someone there!
*edit* just noticed its a cat D, still a good buy though
going to buy a gallon of this, but to save me shopping around for hours does anyone know where its cheapest. i.e. when any discounts and postage are included as i find it quite misleading until you physically get to the checkout
Mark :)
how brilliant are elephant. first company to give me a 'reasonable' insurance quote of £1380 when the cheapest id have before was just shy of £2k.
chuffed :approve:
can someone with a 172/182 steering wheel please measure me the size of the 'renaultsport' decal - and the approximate size of the actual chip its stuck on.
would also love a high res picture of one, but i think if i search through rich's posts long enough i might find one lol
thank you :)
got this off cleanyourcar based on his recommendation as i wanted a wax to really bring the sunflower alive as it was a bit dark and dull, and can honestly say im somewhat disappointed...
first of you have to really rub it on as its quite sticky, then you can only do a small area at a time...
due to the delightful illegal taxi driving immigrant who made me crash last year im now faced with the following renewals:
flux = 1800
bell=1900
elephant =2000
direct line=2276
hastings direct = 3382
so maybe its time to chop in the yellow sub :dapprove:
had the pleasure of trying to follow yoz on the way home from work in the cup...
what a beast!!!
dunno what suspension/tyres you've got but i desperately need to get a loan and visit yozzasport.
in fairness one was just driving through fezzy park last night. number plate starting SC55. whereas the other one was parked up and having a chat numberplate read 'alex f' but cant remember the specfics lol.
mark.
Save pming everyone just thought i'd put up a thread. Also good to give a few people ideas on badge colours etc.
Few pics before i send everything off. Everything is pre polished/waxed so should be even smoother when they go off :D
right, the rear dampers were fooked on the kw's i bought as they were rattling. so fitted some koni yellows today, and now the ride is perfect.
however, and theres always an however, when i go over a big bump in the road or a speed hump i'm getting quite a loud noise which i can only...
