about 2 months ago i has my drivers side windows replaced by the RAC from that point onwards it made a scrapping noise when coming up but worked fine... just though was another clio graon and moan, now, this morning pressed the button to go up and the window fell out of the frame as it was going...

my g/friends leccy windows are fooked, the cable has broken . has anyone ever changed this cable, my local garage who i get parts off say the parts come as a kit that includes a new motor, i would have thought you couuld just buy a new cable? cheers for any help ! mk 2 phase 1 by the way
