Ok, thanks for the explanation. I'm assuming you race quite abit?
The Rainsport 2's are just really good value for money, and for the average commute with the odd spirited drive, I think they are very good!
What an epic idea mate, I thought these things were very expensive, or if cheap, they were crap.
The amount of things I have seen, I so wish I had one of these setup. I've seen a car pull out on roundabout infront of a motorcyclist nearly taken the biker out, the car stopped due to another car...
Hmm, thanks for the heads up dude, the only map im going for is the standard rs tuner, not really a performance map, but doeas that matter?
I suppose like you said, it depends whether the technicians can be bothered or not, I might have to ring the guy on the service desk and ask him. Cheers./
They have been alright so far tbh. I took the car in for an mot and service, and they noticed one of my front springs had a crack in it, and they got it replaced on warranty no questions asked.
I might give the guy on the service desk a ring and ask him about it, he's always been sound with me...
That might help!
What im worried about is if something goes bang, they may check the ecu for updates, but what do the updates actualy say. I basicaly need some advice from a renault technician.
There's a difference between being slagged off and someone just being generaly frustrated about the lack of enthusiam in his responses. In sales, the customer is always right, just seemed by what i read that he cant take any constructive criticism at all.
At least the maps are still available...
