Were you down at Southend when the R5 RR Day was canceled? There were a ton of them down that night - some sh*t hot and some... err... not so hot ;)
This is a thing of beauty!

Ive also heard of a Mini Pickup with a similar Rover V8 that will keep up with a Maclaren F1 up to 100 - but then Aerodynamics take over...
:D
They must be, coz I had a Race up the Hill on the A2 towards Bluewater in my 205 1.6 GTi and we were evenly matched!
I didnt even realise it was an ST170 until my passenger pointed it out, otherwise I wouldnt have bothered!!!
Still it was a laugh! ;)
Must have been a baddun...
Having said that the springs in the Bosh Air Metres did have a tendancy to loosen later in life, but that usually resulted in lumpy idles!
Oh how I miss my little 205
Most common thieves are too stupid to notice tho - I mean they are serious f**k wits!
I used to have a 205GTi - anybord who owns a Peugeot knows that to get into the boot you have to push a button to release the lock... thieves tried to get into the boot on mine by ripping out the lock...
Damn that site is full of usefull stuff...
Ever wondered exactly what is tested in an MOT???

Sounds good - though Id recommend that you dont try racing any AX GTs or 205 XSs....
Althought they only have 1360cc lumps as standard they produce 85bhp which is good enough for 0-60 of 9.5 on the Pug and 9 dead on the AX.
They may not look much but around town they are little street...
Little tip lads n lass! ;)
The Autoglym Bumper black Gell is also good for interior trim! If ur Dash is a bit dull and dusty it works a treat! Dont need to use much and it makes it look like new!
P.S. Dont use it on ur Wheel or Gear Nob - gets a little slippy
Jap motors of that time have odd interiors and in my opinion are mostly a bit lardy - my m8 had a Celeica GTi16 (not exaxtly my cup of tea) and that was similar. Felt too heavy and inside was awfull. Having said that I would love a little Teggy!!! :D
Thats a Jap motor thats been built for...
Hmmm - what could I find for 16K?? ;)
Not going to bother doing all that again - but this is obviously a new meaning of the word value I wasnt previously aware of...
Not picking a fight - just difference of opinions I guess!
My m8 has a Seicento Sporting with a custom 1242cc race engine which is suprisingly nippy - but again it doesnt like the nearest hint of a bend!
His was a prototype used to develop this companies range...
