I did think this would be the case. Wonder if I can get a 172/182 ECU immobiliser removed, could use a 172 cup loom then and still retain what I need too.
Afternoon all,
I am currently building an engine and im looking at going 182 block and 197 head/inlets
I already have 197 inlets drilled to take a PH1 172 cable TB and the extra pulley hole drilled for the 1*2 cambelt / dephaser kit
What I am trying to work out is using Forged 1*2 pistons at...
I have an engine currently split as it needed a full rebuild. Got forged pistons / rods for it. Its an early Phase 1 172 engine with the bigger ported head
I also have a bare 197 head here with all the inlets etc
Rather make the best i can while i can
I've got a full 197 head, i see the location the hole needs drilling too + ive got all the 197 inlets which have been re-drilled to take a phase 1 172 TB.
In essence i can run a full P1 loom, ECU etc with this setup
Who did this for you ? Im now building an engine (1*2 block 197 head/cams) so will need this doing
If I recall correctly you can run the 1*2 dephaser pulley and solenoid on stock loom and ecu (im going early P1 setup)
I am also forging my block with Wossner 12:5:1 pistons and rods. Head will be...
Morning all,
Does anyone have the exact height of a 197 / 200 engine compared to a 172 / 182 engine? Both with Inlets on.
also has anyone fitted a full 197/200 engine into a clio 182?
Thanks :D
Morning,
I am after a phase 1 172 fuel rail with return and regulator, or part numbers for the regulator and the clip if anyone knows where to get them?
Thanks :)
