    Steering wheel sensor fault affecting ESP

    I'm not sure about this, but there might be an option on Clip to configure the vehicle to ''without'' ESP. Also, if the ESP light is on, I expect this means it will be inoperatve anyway? I'll ask one of the RTE's tomorow for you. Ian

    Yeah, scroll through the trip display, until you get to the 'oil change due' mode. Then, hold down one of the scroll buttons until it flashes all the way to 18k..or 12k etc.

    They really should carry this item as stock, if this is the fault of course. I think it is likely that they will, in which case they are just pre-warning you that if it isn't somethiing common, they may need to keep it over. Or, try and book it as a waiting job for confirmation of the...

    Doubtful it would be the coil-pack. A re-prog is carried out by Renault. It updates parameter limits and other tolerences. Try the loom wear first...Just hope for yoursake the cover is already loose!! Ian

    They need to be done up very tight. Make sure they are also straight and that...none of your mountings are excessively worn or have failed.

    The area of concern is usually where the ECU bracket/cover rests on the loom. It is a small black metal cover, about 2x2inches right at the back. 1/2 Clio's you will find this cover will just slide off, as the security device on them is poor. If it lifts off check where it rests on the loom...

    Changing Oil Filter

    Maximum loss would be what comes out of the filter...if the engine is hot, more will have recently been circulated and thusly, more liable to oil coming out of the filter when you remove it. Ive never seen more than 0.5l including a full filter exit a 182 engine...And thats being generous...

    price of a 182 cup

    I work for Renault UK (waters branch) and they sell the cups for £13,800...OTR. With staff discount, Im hoping to get one for about £9-10k in the summer.
