Paulie, eventually won't you get the damage back from that little piece of **** ?
Didn't even knew you guys had to pay part yourself for a broken windscreen! With my previous car I had my front windscreen smashed in a case of roadrage and 2 months later the side window (vandalism), didn't...
It will work, but you will pay a hell of a lot and won't even get near the potential you payed for...
The stock radio is rated at 4x15W or 4x40W if you took the uprated one. Probably he's talking about the normal one, so why take speakers that can handle 4 times the amound of what the radio...
Cables cables and more cables!
It's a b**ch to get them all routed, but with a little patience and taking some of the centre console apart everything goes ;)
I know of people here in belgium that have passed MOT with hid's and a lot of others that didn't pass with them.
It's just a bit of luck, and in your case because of the headwashers you might get lucky and pass without them even questioning.
Why mount 60w RMS speakers if the stock stereo can't handle that much?
You won't get much gain, and if you don't want to put in a decent radio, small amp and components you're better of leaving it stock OR put in some cheaper pioneer/sony speakers.
The balast you plug in the original connector, a black and red wire. And the actual xenon lightbulb you plug into the connectors the come from the balast. Now when you want to put in normal halogens again you just pull out the black and red wire from the original connector and put it back on the...
It's not a hasle, you only have to switch the bulbs, the balasts you can leave where they are...
Only expensive bulbs would be philips or osram their series. Or PIAA but those aren't legal just as the HIDkit.
All the rest is crap, maybe a little blue but a lot less light output.
Yes, but you can't do a streetside test for autoleveling ;)
As long as you don't overdo the colorvalue then I see no problem with tha powlize. Especially since you have a mondeo, they won't question it as long as they are set up properly.
Only thing is the MOT, then you'll probably have to...
Oh sorry, didn't completely read your topic ;)
It's as "you'd never of guessed" said, except that you need 2 RCA cables since you have a 4 channel amp. Connect one set to the rear and one set to the sub out.
Yep, screws just on. I've put a small piece of copperwire on the screwwire of the antenna.
Have good reception overall, but I don't use the radio that much.
Also did an antisocial mod to the highbeam, I've put the front fog lights in serie with'm. So whenever I pull them, you get the...
The KW-kit is installed, 35mm lower and a firmer ride. It has improved the road handling, although right now isn't the ideal weather to go all out with all that crap on the road, the cold and the moist...
Anyhow, piccies ;)
There's also a Pioneer USB module waiting to be installed...
Powercable you pull trough next to the bonnetreleasecable and router it along the left side of the car.
RCA + remote along the right side of the car, I have running 3 of those in mine. You just have to take of some of the side interiour to run it trough and some patience.
Other audio cables...
Buy a cheap noname spare one of of ebay, and then you can do like I did.
Hardwire it using a jack plug, you can buy those dirtcheap at any electronics store. And then you can place it where ever you want, and make your other cable as long as you want...
Yes, we have the realtime thingie, although it only works from 30km/h on. But it is not 100% accurate.
The onboard computer shows 5L/100KM, but it's actually 5.57L/100KM. (yes it's a diesel, and gets driven well ;) )
The project topic of that clio can be seen on the forum of www.cleaned.be , and a lot of other belgian style clean cars can be seen there...
I don't like that clio actually, it messes with the whole idea of a clio. It are small and nimble cars, with some horsies to back them up. They...
You also have the "clean" style that mostly comes out of Belgium. Is based on the germans with the shaved parts, smooth bumpers, hidden exhausts etc etc etc. BUT the alloys aren't small and wide. Mostly the maximum size you can fit on the car BUT it has to remain low.
Everything in one color...
Earth can be boulted easely behind the backseats. Take off that plastic thingie and unscrew the bar.
I ran the power on the left side of the car, RCA's (3) and remote on the right side and the cable for the speakers down the middle.
