Can't diagnose for certain over the internet.. Get it on a CLIP diagnostic machine to be certain but more than likely it'll cure it.
The TDC sensor sits directly ontop of the gearbox on the bellhousing do a search on here I've posted some pics up before in a few threads.
Matt if your buying from Renault, you'll have to buy the new style TDC sensor which you cannot use with the old loom so you'd have to buy that aswell, still around £20 though. Put one on it not worth cleaning it really for the price.
Yeah saw it all on the first lap, stands out a good'un. I was suprised they don't get rid off all the graffitti everywhere with the amount of money they must get but I suppose they'd do it and a week later be the same again.

Peperami I reckon edde means the standard clio brakes are good to most other cars standard. Obviously uprated are better pads stopping power but the standard clio brakes are miles miles better than say a 206 or any other hot hatch.
Yeah was harder than I expected Pacey, even after about 10-11 laps didn't learn the circuit properly. Started raining aswell was a bit of a shitter. Great fun though wanna go again as soon as possible.

The gearsticks shape and design (apart from the colour) are the same all through the range the 1.2/1.4/65DCI/80DCI/1.6/2.0 but the DCI 100 has a different pattern, as you say reverse being down and right, and the shape of the stick is completely different - thats where the confusion starts I think.
