If the Clio is returned to a standard CAT after having a Decat will the emmissions light automaticly switch off or does Renault have to turn it off? Or can any garage switch the light off. Cheers guys P.

Definatly was noticable. The car just pulled well from lower rev's. Its not just a gain of 20 BHP its an increase in Torque across the whole rev range too.

I pulled into Tescos in Luton on Tuesday early evening and parked next to a silver 172 with custom number plates with the Liverpool football team badge on it. When I came out the 172 had turned into a standard Blue 182 (not racing blue). Anyone on here?

Mine does it. From what i've read on here its normal? Its because the engine is cold and the ecu is protecting the engine until its warmed up a bit. Thats my take on it anyway!

So whats your initial thoughts compared to other cars you've owned? Personally when I got my 182 I was dissapointed. I thought it was slow. Until I discovered the second half of the Rev counter, which happend to be on a corner! Then it just got quicker the looser the engine became.

By what i've read Dave it sounds like your enjoying the turbo'd Clio!! Even if you encounter a few minor problems running it, the money you've saved by buying the car already converted rather then paying for the conversion youself, your in a win win situation! Fair play to you mate!
