Stupid tub e thing I presume Fred is talking about the original cold feed to the air box, the 2 pipes go down to a holder just above the horn, its bolted on with the horn to the chassis. Just lossen byt either holding back the pipes and getting a ratchet down there or as Fred said wheel off...
Well Law states that exhaust tails should not protrude past the rear line of the car, or so in that respect. I think there may be some leway. But from the pic they look like there gunna pertrude a hell of a lot. Maybe just cos the rear bumper aint on, could look decieving.
I think you might have a legal issue with those cans sticking out to far. It s getting there. Colour looks good, but im really not a fan of kits on the clio. But If your happy all that counts. And as said before dont pay this dood full wack, stupid amount of time.
I dont think so, quality may not be completley up there, ie not as good as using a straight thru RCA, but still good nether the less. But I would say just change the standard HU. Can pick em up quite cheap now, MP3 ones too sub £100.
You can, but you would have to either use high inputs off the amp (ie using the hus speakers input cables) or you can buy an RCA to high input convertor (use RCAs from the amp to the convertor then to the HU speaker inputs).
Had around 4 Vibe subs now: CBR10, AC10, CBR12, now got a Space 12 sitting in my room ready to go in. Id say for Performance/Price they are up there.
182Dave, Standard fronts are 13cm (5.25") components. I got a set of Rainbow SLX230 Deluxe off ebay. Normally cost £130 new. They are amazing...
I just installed my Pioneeer P80MP today, needed a seperate earth, so after removing the top dash to replace the tweeters, I found an earthing screw just above the clock display. Haynes told me it was an earthing point. Installed tested it with multi, perfect.
From what Ive read on the forums, since I have a Mk1. Top dash off quite easily, something like 8-10 hex screws.
I used the InCarTech one with my Alpine HU, as said above with the original HU in the MK1s, the control/display leads goes into the back of the HU, but MK2s it connects to the...
I think for >2001 clios the yellow plug is behind the display unlike the <2000 where it is behind the HU (Yellow plug = remote control/diplay console connecting wire)
Yeah took your advice Bryan in the end :p, Gunna be running off BlackBox3 amp, then got the 12" Vibe Space sub running off the monoBlock3 amp. Dunno what to do about rear fill, gunna run cables (RCAs), but havent got an rears as replacements yet.
nearley had to change mine since took it in the sea (I know : ). But you can get em open, heres how;
Hold the key so the actual key part is facing you (keyring end is facing away) and the button and led are facing upwards. While holding the metal key part, push the black casing away from...
As Tom said above, All you should need is a cable that uses the same connector as the changer and into a 3.5mm jack. http://www.caraudiodirect.comCarAudioDirect do such a cable, well looks like one, made for blaupunkt but the connector looks the same as the one for the changer.
So ghey :/
Emailed Stealthbox people and they wanted an extra £45 to make the box a lil bigger (37 ltrs instead of 31), box total around £200 :o Reckon the sub would still perform/ be ok in a 31ltr box compared to the recommended 37??
Right I have cash waiting for anyone who would like to take up the task of building me a nice sub box for my 172. It will house a Vibe 12" Space. I do know the first clue about this, so it is why I am asking. Is there anyone out there who will take this on?
EBAY!!!ONE!111...:D

Right having a hard time on deciding on my ICE for my 172. Have replaced HU with an Alpine Mp3 player that I had in my golf. So far Ive got a couple of amps: Vibe monoBlock 3 and Blackbox3. Im looking for subs and speakers now. I had an active Vibe AC10 in the car, although this sub packed a...
