Re: f**kin break in!!
Awww, that's so sickening. The little b******s! Why can't these little s**ts keep their sticky little fingers to themselves!? The problem is, it doesn't matter what you do or how secure you think everything is. If the little f*****s want it, they'll take it!
The problem with getting a battery from a breakers is, you have no idea how long it has been standing about and could be no better than the one you already have. You don't have to pay £50 like I did, they do come cheaper , it all depends what you want really. Just look in the Halfords flip chart...
Just get a battery from Halfords. If you get a maintenance free heavy duty battery it should last quite a while. Mine is guaranteed for 5 years and cost me £50.
Edit: Disks can wear if you are abit heavy on your brakes. If the pads get too low they can score and pit the disks. Dunc...
That's way out of order! IF they are correct in their findings, most of those jobs you could do yourself, or get a friend to do for you. I just did a quick check on a random site for parts (didn't include battery or head gasket) and even without taking into consideration the discounts they are...
I'm in stitches here. You are all questioning whether it's a real williams just because it has a sunroof? Come on lads, use your brains. Could it not be possible that the guy just had one fitted? It's probably one of the first things I might do if I picked up one as I love having a sunroof...
Shame we lost you just after that. We got stuck at the traffic lights when you turned left. Then we got caught behind some camper van so lost sight of where you all went. lol
Erm let me see.
1. #1 coil needs replacing soon, going to do #4 at the same time. (2+3 have already been done).
2. N/S wheel baring singing, needs doing soonish.
3. 2 small knuckle dents on the bonnet, 1 small trolley dent in drivers door and a few scratches on the o/s rear quarter.
4. Body...
Sorry to hear about your accident, but pleased to hear you were not hurt and your car is all better now. :)
If you find you have to sell her because you can't afford the insurance renewal, how about going for a 16v 1.6? They are pretty darn nippy, don't drink the fuel and are only a group 8...
 Naaa, abit of T-cut and some elbow grease and it will be fine.
What an idiot though. I bet he felt like a right plonker, he certainly looked like one that's for sure. Hahahaha.
I think it looks really nice, although I am not keen on the wheels. I think your old ones looked alot better, but that's just my personal taste. I'm glad you are getting the exhaust done. Apart from those two little bits I think she looks lovely.
I like the idea of colour coding, but I also...
I think these 'heater plugs' you are on about are called 'glow plugs'. I don't know that much about diesels (especially new ones), but from my understanding of them, (or how they used to be), when you first turn on the ignition the 'glow plug' light comes on and when it goes out you then start...
Hiya Claire. Welcome to CS. :D
I am also from Surrey, near Epsom.
If you're not busy on Sunday, maybe you would like to come to the South East Westerham meet.

Re: Help On Tryes Please
I have 16/45/195's with Conti Sport Contacts on my car and can't find a bad word to say about them. I had Michelins on my other Clio and didn't like them anywhere near as much. It's all a matter of preference I think. I stick with what I know I get on with.
Hmm, my worst was really embarrassing. I was 23 and had an Austin Mini 850. My bf at the time had been messing about under the bonnet and little did I know he had accidently got the throttle cable wrapped around the carb, so my poor Mini was in ultra slow mode and got overtaken up the Epsom hill...
