I know what does dyno meen and show (at least it showed how much hp my ex 200SX had :D ) but it really feels faster so i guess it must be difference in acceleration from low down.
You can buy custom map for your mods and fuel...
It will work but it's not optimum. I think that Henk wrote something like that. :o
Try 20-60mph in 3th gear berofe and after. I didn't but it's probably faster. And i'd love to see dyno before/after although i know it's not top end that is better but low down torque.
Sorry for my English.
Friend owns Clio mk2 dci and he remaped it to around 120hp. Its really fast. Actually second fastest Clio mk2. 1.6 16V is no match for him so the only fastest Clio mk2 is RS.
Isn't that pretensioner that pulls when airbag go off so it pulls you to the seat? Anyway now i use both belts so i don't have to look at that red light on dash. :(
OK I just installed Sabelt harness (for trackday use mostly). But now i'd like to know if airbag could still deploy if belt sensor knows that i'm not using original seat belt? Anyone? :o
DCi 80 had intercooler, 105 had better turbo and injectors. My friend has 105 chipped to 120hp, its really fast car. MPG is on all cars almost identical.
Nope. You can install brakes from Scenic dCI around 2004. They are bolt on and they use 300mm discs. You can get Scenic caliper almost for free, discs and pads are about same amount of money as original RS. But i dont know what system dou you have in UK for insurance quotes and everything around...
It does difference if you have old car with much body roll. It helped to my Pug106 and also Nissan 100NX GTi. Clio has firmer shell from factory.
Used search but still don't know so to get this straight. Even if i buy something like this http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Renault-Timing-Tools-K4J-K4M-F4P-F4R-Engines-/320511081461?cmd=ViewItem&pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item4a9ff2fbf5
I would still need cam pulley locking tools eich can...
Re: Possible new splitter found!!
13,33€ (£11,51) in Slovenia. And if you ask me it looks better then original RS. :rasp:
BTW how much is original cup?
My were on car when I bought car. Last year fronts (right now they are on rearaxle ) are 09 so one year old and about 10.000km (6.000 miles) and one trackday. Rear that are curently at front are 07. I'll swap them on next trackday (09 front and 07 on rear) and im sure i'll have to buy new set...
Yup, impact wrench. Had same problems this week and i almost wanted to pay someone to change my suspension. Fortunatly he didnt have time he just used cordless impact wrench and it was off in a second so i could do everything else myself. If i knew that i'd use my pneumatic wrench. Live and...
Never mind. I already figured out that Eibach has differend springs only for 1,2, while they have one springs for 1,4 1,6 1,5 and 2,0 engines.
Now all i have to do is wait. :approve:
One question. I'm looking for Eibach pro-line and i'd like to know if they are same for usual Clios and for RS? I know that coilovers/shocks are not (usual vs RS vs Cup).
Could I sell my RS springs to someone with usual Clio? So basicly are all Clio B spring interchangeable?
Thanks.
Probably custom brackets, original pads and discs that would fit. Lot of work. BTW how big are his discs? 324 mm? Wouldnt that be overkill for Clio RS? I have 300mm discs (Scenic 1,9dci calipers) and works great, no overheating for now. Bad thing is that i cant use 15 inch wheels only original...
Yeah righ.
I've been on track with original setup and i can say that original setup works great. Raceland would have to be rised on 59, 60 or more threads that it wouldnt rubb. I have them on 58 and it still rubbs if i REALLY push it. Not on normal driving conditions. I guess i...
This Raceland coilies are good. It's not to harsh and car looks cool. Shocks seems fine, they are little harder then stock. But if you ask me spring are too soft. I lifted car to 58 threads and front left tire still rubbs when i push it to the limit in right turn. If i lift it a little more...
